indeed - but the memory of Flanders' fields didn't stop the slaughter of Stalingrad, Rowanda or Cambodia. It's as if it only takes the passing of a single generation to set us back at each other's throats.
absolutely, seems we'll never learn but hopefully positive, peaceful influences will win out
