"To get through the hardest journey
we need take only one step at a time,
but we must keep on stepping"
Chinese Proverb
Only a quick sketch this week with no digital fiddling. This is a direct scan from my sketchbook... you can even see the red smudge that's permanently on my scanner thanks to my beautiful girl scanning one of her paintings (she's two, it wasn't dry... love it!)
I had so many ideas for this weeks topic but time is against me so I settled for this simple 'first day of school' idea.
I would, however, like to share this short Shakespearean poem that deals with the subject...
O mistress mine, where are you roaming?
O stay and hear! your true-love's coming
That can sing both high and low;
Trip no further, pretty sweeting,
Journey's end in lovers' meeting—
Every wise man's son doth know.
O stay and hear! your true-love's coming
That can sing both high and low;
Trip no further, pretty sweeting,
Journey's end in lovers' meeting—
Every wise man's son doth know.
Carpe Diem (1st stanza)
Happy Doodling
