I finally did it! I finally put some of my children's poetry videos online.
This is what I want to do, this is where my real passion is - performance poetry for children and young adults.
I just love the power of words and being able to communicate my stories in this way.
Some of them are very silly (we all need entertaining) and some of them are even quite dark (because kids aren't naive)

Did You Hear? A Boy Died in the School Gym.
I have to be honest, the filming is not great but I only had a webcam and it looks like I'm reading the words, I'm not. Maybe one day I'll con one of the media students at school to film them properly for me but for now, I'm relatively happy with them.

Great expressions and gestures! You've got the skill and you've got the confidence, so I see no reason you couldn't find success with this.
