| My first comic strip.... I didn't know what to do for this week's topic, I didn't want to do anything too obvious and then my lovely wife suggested I draw something to do with our weekend. My sister-in-law (actually called Beck) runs quite a few acres of lucerne (hay) and recently lost a lot of her crop due to the rain. We'd finished raking a fresh batch on Saturday when a storm started coming in... a mad rush ensued to get it all bailed and in the shed but we did it. Not a usual weekend for your typical high school English teacher I imagine! Good fun though, needed the exercise. |

I can imagine it really sucks for farmers when they are bailing and it rains.
Great little comic stripe.
Well done...thank you for sharing your story. I really enjoyed it.
Love the night images!
Thanks guys, I really enjoyed making this one - took a lot more time than usual of course - probably won't attempt another comic strip until the school holiday when I don't have to worry about marking kids assignments
Thank you for your nice comment. All I know for sure is that it is easier to run a marathon that to draw a runner :)
i think this is great!
i like the moon, i believe i can see a witch flying...
Great stuff, please tell me you actually have a hat like that ;)
And yes, I've remembered what I've forgotten and I'm kicking myself for it. I got you, I promise.
Mona, having never tried either I think I'll take your word for it but I'll put both firmly on the bucket list!
And thanks Lakhsmita, I can't believe I missed the opportunity to put a witch in there - silly considering the season. By the way, I think my own Tír na nÓg is the at Castlerigg in the Lake District - spectacular place
Jose,
you're a legend mate but seriously don't worry about it, you must be mega busy and I'm getting a little more confident every time
and yes... yes I do!
Thanks for the comments everyone - please check out my new videos page.
Peace
